Yeah, that's why i had advocated a Dusty Clause. In some cases, the LaserDisc names are — against all odds — superior to the DVD names. My position was basically the following:
1. Go with the newest available names by default
2. If the newest names seem obviously wrong, but the LaserDiscs seem less so, go with the LD name (Dusty Clause)
3. Under no circumstances do we choose a name that is not used in one of the official animated releases
Canary's overall position has been confusing to me, but i know that he objects to part 2, because he feels we aren't in a position to determine which one is more correct. Which is a valid concern, but it seems less wrong to me than some of the other options
